OnePlus is a brand that has always been focused on offering the best flagship performance with great display and almost a stock android experience ( oxygen OS ) at a substantially lower price point.
But what it lacked from the mainstream flagship phones like Samsung Galaxy S series or iPhone's, is its Camera and some features like wireless Charging and having an official IP rating of water and dust resistance.
But with OnePlus 8 Pro the company has changed this trend, they finally introduced wireless Charging(not OnePlus 8), Has great cameras, and has an official IP rating of Dust and Water Resistance(not OnePlus 8).
But by adding these features the price of the phones increased substantially. It no longer remained a flagship killer. OnePlus priced its phones similarly as the traditional smartphone companies(but the OnePlus 8 Pro is still cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S20 or the Huawei P40 Pro).
So OnePlus is going to launch a mid-range smartphone called the OnePlus Z to target customers who wanted a great OnePlus phone and don't want to spend a lot on it.
Specs, Price And Release Date Of OnePlus Z
According to the Android Central report, OnePlus will release a midpriced phone called the OnePlus Z in India in July.
The OnePlus Z may come with a 6.55 inch Super AMOLED 90 Hz display with a single punch hole cutout for the 16MP front camera. It will also have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of base internal storage. The device will come with a primary 48MP camera with a 16MP wide-angle and a 2MP macro camera. And according to XDA-Developers OnePlus Z may come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 processor.
OnePlus Z will be priced at 24,990 rupees (about $330) in India. Which will compete with :
