Apple Announces Digital-Only Event Set to Be Held on September 15.
Apple announced on its events page that it will be holding a special event on Tuesday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
It will be an online event due to the COVID-19 situation. The keynote will stream from Apple Park, and you can watch it on Apple's official website(www.apple.com), Apple Developer app, Apple Tv app, or YouTube. In this event, Apple is rumored to have a full lineup of hardware for this fall, including four new iPhones, the Apple Watch Series 6 and Watch Series SE, an updated iPad Air, a smaller HomePod, and possibly even a pair of Apple-branded over-ear headphones.
iPad Air 4
It is rumored that Apple will launch a new low-cost iPad or an iPad Air 4 in September. There are also rumors suggesting an iPad Pro launch.
According to me, the iPad Air is the next in line for an update.
When the iPad Air got the update in 2019 it inherited the design of the previous iPad Pro 2017. So it naturally makes sense if apple uses its iPad Pro 2018 design in its latest iPad Air 2020. This would mean that it will come in support with the 2nd Gen Apple pencil and it would also support the lastest Magic Keyboard case from apple.
The device will reportedly include an edge-to-edge screen, faster processor, and a USB-C connector. It is also rumored to come with TouchID integrated into the side-mounted power button.
Based on rumor, the iPad Air 4 could get four stereo speakers and pack the same A14-equivalent chipset as will appear in the iPhone 12.
Apple Watch 6
We already know a lot about the Apple Watch Series 6. We don’t expect a major redesign for the Apple Watch 6, but it could gain a lot of new features.
It is rumored to have a blood oxygen monitoring, also known as SpO2 monitoring, is coming to the Apple Watch 6. We have also heard that the new Apple Watch will be better at spotting early signs of stress and panic. Apple Watch Series 6 will also have sleep tracking as well as improved battery life. In addition, the new Apple Watch model will have a “Kids Mode”.

It has also been rumored that a cheaper Apple Watch ( potentially called Watch SE ) will be launch alongside the Series 6, though details are scarce as of now.

But unfortunately, according to MacRumors Apple has confirmed that the upcoming iPhone 12 will be delayed, but its extent and the exact release date is as yet unknown. Apple has historically held all of its modern iPhone unveilings during the first few weeks of September, with iPhones launching soon after for the most part, but this year, the release will be pushed back.
Although Apple announced an event on Tuesday, rumors have suggested that this event will not see the unveiling of the iPhone 12, and instead be dedicated to new Apple Watch and iPad models.
Cheaper HomePod
The original HomePod still offers excellent sound quality, classy design, and a number of smart features — but to truly compete in the smart speaker market, Apple is working on a smaller, cheaper HomePod that is expected to feature the same general form factor but with reduced audio quality and a smaller size.
