Which iPad should you buy? It’s a much more complicated decision than it used to be, with five models of iPad officially to buy from Apple and many older variants still available from third-party retailers - and that’s before we get into elements like colors, storage options, cellular connectivity, and optional accessories.

But don’t worry use our handy iPad buying guide to get the right iPad for your needs and budget.

iPad Pro

The iPad Pro comes in two sizes – a 12.9-inch and an 11-inch model.
If you want the most powerful iPad that Apple has to offer this is the iPad you should go for, an absolute powerhouse that, in all honesty, is overkill for most people, this iPad is for serious creative pros with more demanding needs.

If you are looking for Laptop Replacement this is the best tablet on the market
especially with the introduction of the M1 chip in the iPad.This is also the only iPad with Face ID if you really want the convenience of hands-free authentication, plus it has ProMotion, Thunderbolt-compatible USB-C connector, which offers a 120-Hz screen refresh rate for smoother scrolling and a more fluid software experience. It has more speakers for better sound quality, more microphones to pick up your voice clearer, more base storage.

Now, Which screen size should you go for?

We will recommend the 12.9- inch iPad if considering this iPad as your laptop replacement.
The extra screen size will be very useful in video editing, photo editing, etc.

Another reason to buy the 12.9- inch model is its display.  This is the first iPad to use Mini LED screen technology, and it allows for a seriously bright screen with great contrast. It's almost like an AMOLED panel.

But if you want a compact design 11-inch is not a bad option either. It is best for people who just want the best portable tablet in the market.

Price:-

11-inch iPad Pro:- $799 for the 128 GB Model and can go all the way to $1899 for a 2 TB Model.

12.9-inch iPad Pro:- $1099 for the 128 GB Model and can go all the way to $2199 for a 2 TB Model.

iPad Air

iPad Air is the best value-for-money iPad you can buy. It shares the same design as the iPad Pro and has support for magic keyboard.

The new iPad Air uses an Apple A14 processor with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 256GB of storage. The Air has a 10.9-inch, 2,360x1,640-pixel LCD with 500 nits max brightness. The side bezels seem a hair bigger on the Air. The iPad Pro also has a smoother ProMotion screen refresh, at up to 120Hz, versus the iPad's more normal 60Hz panel. ProMotion is lovely, but I'm also fine without it. The Air doesn't have Face ID, which the Pros and iPhones have. The Face ID camera is cleverly hidden around the black bezel of the Pro and works at nearly any orientation. Meanwhile, the Air is Apple's first device with a fingerprint sensor on the small power button on its edge, instead of the circular home button.

It is basically a budget iPad pro. It is the best tablet you can buy for under $600. But if you are buying an iPad as a laptop replacement and can spend that extra $200, I will highly recommend you to go for the iPad pro. It brings a host of exciting upgrades, headlined by even more graphics and processing power, a Thunderbolt-compatible USB-C connector, more storage options, a smoother 120Hz display, and optional 5G connectivity.

Price:-

The iPad air comes at $599 for the base 64GB wifi model and $749 for the 256GB model.

The cellular model comes at $729 for a 64GB model and $879 for the 256GB model.

Apple iPad ( 10.2-inch, 2020 )

iPad 10.2-inch is the most affordable Apple tablet, with a starting price of just $329. Despite its lower price, the iPad has plenty of premium specs, including a 2160 x 1620-pixel Retina display, a speedy A12 Bionic processor, Apple Pencil support, and dual 8-MP / 1.2-MP cameras. It comes in Silver, Space Gray, and Gold colors in either 32 or 128GB capacity.

The iPad's 10.2-inch Retina display is sharp and ideal for productivity and entertainment. Compared to the Retina displays of pricier iPad models, the panel lacks True Tone tech, as well as the ability to cover the P3 color gamut. The last bit means that the screen won't have the same color range as its pricier relatives.

Equipped with the Apple Smart Keyboard, the new iPad is also an excellent tool for cranking out work and while its processor isn’t as fast as the Air or the Pro, it handles most apps well enough, although some might take a while to load and the graphics in some games might be a little muddy. Because of its relatively low price and generous screen size, the iPad is a great choice for media consumption, gaming, social media, and some light productivity.

Price:-

The iPad 10.2-inch model comes at $329 for the base 32GB wifi model and $429 for the 128GB model.

The iPad 10.2-inch cellular model comes at $459 for the base 32GB model and $559 for the 128GB model.

iPad Mini

The iPad Mini is a pint-sized tablet from Apple, the smallest in its popular line of tablets. With a screen size of 7.9 inches and a weight that’s well under a pound, this tiny tablet is extra-portable and perfect for taking on the go.

Packing the same A12 Bionic chip as the 10.2-inch iPad, the mini delivers fast and fluid performance. It will help you work or stay entertained with equally impressive results. The mini is the first small tablet by Apple to have a Retina display with True Tone technology and compatibility with the P3 color gamut. The 7.9-inch display panel is a significant improvement over the one found in the device’s predecessors. It’s also compatible with the first-generation Apple Pencil. Despite its small size, this device packs solid front- and rear-facing cameras, at 7 megapixels (MP) and 8 MP, respectively. For videos and photos, the new iPad Air and iPad Pro models are better choices with their superior rear-facing cameras. The Mini boasts a high-definition screen resolution and can record in 1080p HD.

The iPad mini is a great size for books, especially comic books. Its relatively small screen makes it easy to type quick social media posts or send off emails, during one-handed use or while standing up. The mini is the best size for kids. Being a small tablet, the iPad mini does not have a built-in Smart Connector for attaching a keyboard cover; you can pair the tablet with a Bluetooth keyboard instead. If you're looking for an iPad that you’ll use for productivity work, we suggest that you opt for a model with a bigger screen.

Price:-

The iPad mini model comes at $399 for the base 64GB wifi model and $549 for the 256GB model.

The iPad mini for the cellular model comes at $529 for the base 64GB model and $679 for the 256GB model.
