Samsung launched several products at the Galaxy Unpacked event late on Wednesday. Introduced two new foldable phones in the form of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 along with a new range of accessories like Galaxy Buds 2 TWS
earbuds and Watch 4 range of smartwatches.

While the Z Fold 3 unfolds horizontally, essentially converting your phone into a nearly 8-inch tablet, the Z Flip 3 folds vertically and you will get the same screen estate like any other smartphone with a display of around 6.5-inch. 

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 design

Samsung took durability seriously with the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Thanks to a new film, the screen is now 80% more durable than the one found on the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Gorilla Glass Victus covers the 1.9-inch outer display and Samsung constructed the phone’s frame from its Armor Aluminum material. All of that provides enhanced scratch resistance, especially on the cover display.
The cover display is probably the biggest change introduced to the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s design. That’s four times larger than the Galaxy Z Flip’s 1.1-inch exterior strip, meaning that you’ll see much more information than before. 

The camera cutouts have been redesigned as well for consistency with Samsung’s other models.

The dual-tone design adds a touch of class to the device as the top frame is now blacked out on all color options. This is also the first clamshell foldable smartphone from Samsung that’s water-resistant.

When folded, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 measures 86.4 x 72.2 x 15.9~17.1 mm. It weighs 183g.

• It will get a 3,300mAh dual-cell battery, which supports 15W fast charging. Its dimensions become 72.2x86.4x17.1mm when folded and 72.2x166.0x6.9mm when unfolded. The thickness of the phone is 17.3mm when folded and 7.2mm when unfolded. Its weight is 183 grams.
